Texas House of Representatives honors Health Alliance for Austin Musicians on its 20th anniversary.

The Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) is celebrating its 20th anniversary on September 23, 2025. HAAM, founded in 2005 by Robin Shivers, provides affordable health care for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured working musicians, DJs, and music teachers in Travis County and surrounding areas. Services include doctor visits, prescriptions, routine dental work, psychiatric counseling, eye exams, outpatient procedures, specialist referrals, and hearing screenings. HAAM has served nearly 7,000 people and connected musicians to more than $191 million in health care services.
