The Texas House of Representatives commends George David Scott III for his contributions to the cattle industry. Scott, a sixth-generation cattleman and rancher, has been a partner in the Scott Livestock Commission Company since 1960 and currently operates the G. D. Scott Cattle Company. He chairs the range bull and commercial heifer committee and was inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2024.
