The Texas House of Representatives congratulates Williamson County Emergency Medical Services (WCEMS) on its 50th anniversary. WCEMS, established in 1975, has grown from 16 employees and 4 ambulances to a staff of 177 and a fleet of 25 emergency response vehicles. The agency has received numerous awards, including the Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold Plus Award from the American Heart Association.
