The House of Representatives pays tribute to Ruben Reyna Sr., who passed away on March 5, 2025, at age 85. Born in Weslaco, he was the son of Octaviano and Dolores Reyna and grew up with siblings Rene, Richard, and Rosario. He married Juanita Alvarado and had four children, later expanding his family to include eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Reyna and his wife owned and operated Ruben's Body Shop for nearly six decades, winning the Readers' Choice Award for Best Auto Body Shop in 2019.
