The bill congratulates Christine Mihealsick on her selection as the 2025 Texas Teacher of the Year by the Texas Association of School Administrators. Mihealsick, a National Board Certified Teacher, has a master's degree in science education from The University of Texas at Austin and has taught for 23 years. She currently teaches 11th- and 12th-grade Advanced Placement environmental science at Westwood High School, where she is also the science department chair. Mihealsick has participated in various international programs and has consulted for the National Math and Science Initiative.
