The House of Representatives of the 89th Texas Legislature honors Hargie Faye Savoy for her many years of service to the Port Arthur community. Savoy, a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, has been a graduate of Lincoln High School and a congregant of Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church for over half a century. She has served as a board member for various organizations, including the CHRISTUS St. Mary Hospital, the Art Museum of Southeast Texas, and the Greater Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce.
