Davis, who has served for 45 years, began his career with the Ennis Fire Department, then worked for the Seagoville Fire Department for 15 years before becoming chief of the Kaufman Fire Department in 2017. He holds master firefighter certification and has received two Life Saving Awards and the Carl "Skip" Thomas Memorial First Responder Award.
