The Texas House of Representatives congratulates Kristen and David Cox on being named the 2025-2026 Parents of the Year by Texas A&M University. Kristen Cox, a 1983 graduate, founded a computer company to care for her son, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and later became CEO of 12th Man Technology. David Cox, a former NASA employee, works at Texas A&M and supports his family. Both have created scholarships for students with disabilities and are active in the Aggie community.
