Proposing a constitutional amendment to abolish ad valorem taxes in Texas.

This bill proposes a constitutional amendment to abolish ad valorem taxes in Texas. It prohibits political subdivisions from imposing these taxes on real or personal property starting January 1, 2031. The amendment will be submitted to voters in the November 4, 2025 election.
