This bill proposes a constitutional amendment to permit additional uses of certain dedicated general revenue transferred each fiscal year to the state highway fund. The comptroller of public accounts must transfer funds from the general revenue fund to the economic stabilization fund and the state highway fund. The funds in the state highway fund can be used for constructing, maintaining, and acquiring rights-of-way for public roadways, public transportation, public bicycle paths, and public sidewalks. The amendment will be submitted to voters at an election on November 4, 2025.
