This bill proposes a constitutional amendment to change the quorum requirement for the Texas Legislature. Currently, two-thirds of the members of each House must be present to conduct business. The amendment would reduce this requirement to a simple majority of the members of each House. The amendment will be put to a vote in the November 4, 2025 election.
