Proposes a constitutional amendment to change the quorum requirement for the Texas Senate and House of Representatives.

This bill proposes a constitutional amendment to change the quorum requirement for the Texas Senate and House of Representatives. Currently, two-thirds of the members of each House constitute a quorum, but the amendment would change this to a majority of the members. The amendment will be submitted to voters in the May 2, 2026 election.
