This bill proposes a constitutional amendment to change the time during which the Texas legislature may act on bills or resolutions during a regular session. The first 60 days of a regular session would be devoted to the introduction of and acting on bills and resolutions, including holding committee hearings. The remainder of the session would be for committees to hold hearings to consider all bills and resolutions and other matters pending. This proposed constitutional amendment will be submitted to voters at the November 4, 2025 election.
