This bill proposes a constitutional amendment to change the quorum requirement for the Texas Senate and House of Representatives. Currently, two-thirds of the members of each House must be present to constitute a quorum. The amendment would change this to a majority of the members of each House. The amendment will be submitted to voters in the May 2, 2026 election.
