The Texas Legislature congratulates Dustin R. Womble on his election as vice chair of the Texas Tech University System Board of Regents. Womble, a Texas Tech University alumnus, was appointed to the board by Governor Greg Abbott in 2019 and reappointed in March 2025. He currently chairs the Facilities Committee and has served on the Finance & Investments Committee and the Audit Committee. Womble has also held leadership roles in various other organizations, including the Carr Foundation Board of Trustees, Lubbock Christian School Board of Trustees, and TRUNO board of directors.
