Texas HB910 amends the Code of Criminal Procedure to change the venue for prosecuting election offenses. Felony election offenses can be prosecuted in a judicial district adjoining where the offense occurred. Misdemeanor election offenses can be prosecuted in a county adjoining where the offense occurred. A county retains exclusive jurisdiction over offenses within its jurisdiction for 90 days after the Governor's certification of election.
