Texas HB906 amends the Education Code to allow certain individuals to obtain a temporary teaching certificate for career and technology education. This applies to those who have served in the armed forces of the United States and were honorably discharged, retired, or released from active duty, or who have served as a first responder and retired, resigned, or separated from employment while in good standing. To qualify, these individuals must complete 60 semester credit hours at an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 2.50.
