This bill amends the Government Code to exempt individuals who have established an attorney-client relationship with a political subdivision from lobbyist registration. The exemption applies if the individual provides legal services and receives compensation, reimbursement, or expenses under an agreement with the political subdivision. The change takes effect September 1, 2025.
