Expands Medicaid eligibility in Texas to individuals eligible under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

This bill amends the Texas Human Resources Code to expand Medicaid eligibility to individuals who apply for assistance and for whom federal matching funds are available under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The Health and Human Services Commission must provide medical assistance to these individuals. The executive commissioner of the commission must take necessary actions to implement this expansion.
