Texas HB650 amends the Education Code to provide a four percent credit for school districts that prepay for attendance credit. This credit applies if the district elects to pay for credit in the manner specified and pays the total amount required by February 15 of the school year. The credit is applied after any other reductions to which the district is entitled. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
