Texas HB632 amends the Occupations Code to limit the quantity of an emergency refill of insulin to a 30-day supply, unless the smallest commercially available package exceeds this amount. Pharmacists may dispense multiple packages of insulin for an emergency refill if the total quantity does not exceed a 30-day supply. Similarly, the quantity of an emergency refill of insulin-related equipment or supplies cannot exceed the smallest commercially available package necessary for a 30-day supply. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
