Texas HB5671 amends the election process for directors of the Johnson County Special Utility District, allowing for the election of some or all directors from single-member districts. To be eligible to run for director, a person must be a qualified voter, a retail water or sewer service customer of the district, and an owner of land receiving services from the district or a beneficial interest in a trust owning such land.
