The Texas Film Academy is established to create and offer specialized higher education and workforce training programs in film production, post-production, and related areas. The academy will develop curriculum for high-wage jobs in on-set production, post-production, grip and electric training, costume and set design, sound engineering, visual effects, and project management. It will partner with institutions of higher education and industry leaders to facilitate the offering of these programs.
