Texas HB5503 amends the Transportation Code to designate Interstate Highway 35 in Travis County as the President Donald J. Trump Highway. This designation is in addition to any other existing designations. The Texas Department of Transportation is required to design and construct markers indicating this designation and erect them at each end of the highway and at appropriate intermediate sites. The bill also expresses the intent of the 89th Legislature to renumber provisions to avoid multiple provisions with the same designation. The act will take effect on September 1, 2025.
