Texas HB537 amends the Local Government Code to allow the commissioners court of counties with a population over 3.3 million to regulate noise levels in residential areas. This regulation does not extend to fireworks. Violating these noise regulations three or more times is a Class C misdemeanor. The law takes effect on September 1, 2025.
