Allows certain Texas border municipalities to change their election date to the November uniform election date.
This bill amends the Election Code to allow municipalities on the Texas-Mexico border with a population over 85,000 that host the annual Texas Citrus Fiesta and hold their general election on a date other than the November uniform election date to change their election date to the November uniform election date.
