Texas HB4731 designates a portion of State Highway Loop 88 under construction as of September 1, 2025, as a relief route around Lubbock, in Lubbock County, as the First Responders Memorial Loop. The Texas Department of Transportation is tasked with designing and constructing markers indicating this designation and erecting them at appropriate sites along the loop. The designation is in addition to any other designation. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
