It specifies that a conservation easement is a nonpossessory interest in real property that imposes limitations or affirmative obligations to retain or protect natural, scenic, or open-space values, assure availability for agricultural, forest, recreational, or open-space use, protect natural resources, maintain or enhance air or water quality, preserve historical, architectural, archeological, or cultural aspects, or protect living things from excessive artificial light.
