Texas HB4658 amends the Government Code to prohibit campus police departments and local entities from assisting or cooperating with federal immigration officers without a judicial warrant at a place of worship. Additionally, personnel of a place of worship may not authorize a federal immigration officer to enter without a warrant. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
