The program will ensure providers are equipped to deliver consistent, superior health care services to maternal patients. The curriculum will include evidence-based protocols for obstetric emergencies, TexasAIM maternal safety best practices, maternal safety simulations, and other recommendations from the review committee. The executive commissioner will require participation in the training program by rule. The act takes effect September 1, 2025.
