Texas HB4428 amends the Education Code to require the State Board of Education to place on its agenda and consider for approval any innovative course for which a school district or open-enrollment charter school has submitted an application. The application must be submitted no later than the end of the school year following the pilot or one year from the application submission date. This Act will take effect on September 1, 2025.
