This bill amends the Texas Occupations Code to require a license for practicing magnetic resonance imaging physics. It defines magnetic resonance imaging physics as the branch of medical physics dealing with radiofrequency radiation. The Texas Medical Board must adopt rules to implement these changes. The bill takes effect September 1, 2025.
