This bill amends the Health and Safety Code to require operators of municipal solid waste facilities to maintain records and report annually to the commission on the amount and jurisdiction of origin of solid waste they transfer, process, store, treat, or dispose of. It also requires transporters who must register with the commission to report annually on the amount of solid waste they transport. The commission must establish procedures for recordkeeping, reporting, and posting this information on a publicly available website. The changes take effect September 1, 2025.
