This bill designates a specific portion of State Highway 64 in Smith County as the Fire Marshal Jimmy W. Seaton Memorial Highway. The Texas Department of Transportation is required to design and construct markers indicating this designation and erect them at each end of the highway and at appropriate intermediate sites. The designation is in addition to any other existing designation. The act is set to take effect on September 1, 2025.
