Texas HB4171 amends Section 64.009(f) of the Election Code to require individuals assisting seven or more voters with transportation to a polling place to complete and sign a form. This form must include the assistant's name, address, and whether they are providing assistance solely under this section or under both this section and Subchapter B. It must also include the voter's name, address, and whether they are receiving assistance under this section or under both this section and Subchapter B. The act takes effect September 1, 2025.
