This bill amends the Occupations Code to require physicians renewing their registration permit to state that they have provided proper supervision and delegation of medical acts to non-physician health care providers. Specifically, the Texas Medical Board must prescribe the method for electronically signing this statement by December 1, 2025. This new requirement applies only to applications submitted on or after January 1, 2026. The bill takes effect September 1, 2025.
