Establishes a minimum base wage for direct care workers under Medicaid in Texas.

This bill amends the Texas Government Code to establish a minimum base wage for direct care workers under Medicaid. Direct care workers must be paid a base wage that is not less than the greater of $15 an hour or the federal minimum wage. The minimum wage requirement applies to direct care workers providing nonmedical services to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
