Texas HB4030 amends the Election Code to expand the list of acceptable forms of photo identification for voting. Acceptable forms now include a driver's license, election identification certificate, personal identification card, United States military identification card, United States citizenship certificate, United States passport, handgun license, and Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card. These documents must not have expired or, if expired, must have expired no earlier than four years before the date of presentation. The changes take effect September 1, 2025.
