Texas HB3965 amends the Health and Safety Code to allow county and municipal authorities to prohibit the sale of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or tobacco products by establishments within 300 feet of a church, public hospital, or public or private primary or secondary school campus. It also allows prohibitions within 1,000 feet of a public or private primary or secondary school campus, but only if requested by the school district board of trustees or the governing body of the private school.
