This bill amends the Health and Safety Code to expand eligibility for the children with special health care needs program. It includes individuals with cystic fibrosis or sickle cell disease, regardless of age, in addition to those under 21 with chronic physical or developmental conditions. The changes will take effect September 1, 2025.
