Exempts certain water rights transfers from real property disclosure requirements.

This bill amends Texas law to exempt transfers of certain water rights from disclosure requirements applicable to transfers of real property interests. Specifically, it exempts transfers of groundwater rights, surface water rights, mineral interests, leasehold interests, or security interests. It also exempts transfers to or from governmental entities, transfers between spouses or lineal relatives, and transfers from one co-owner to another. The bill takes effect September 1, 2025.
