The Texas Commission for Boys and Men is created to study the conditions and issues affecting boys, male youth, and men in Texas. The commission will identify needs, assess issues, and recommend policies and programs to promote well-being and prosperity. The commission will evaluate laws and regulations and make recommendations to state leaders. The commission will be composed of eleven members appointed by the governor, lieutenant governor, and speaker of the house of representatives. The commission will be abolished December 31, 2026.
