Provides a credit for windstorm and hail insurance costs for certain school districts under the public school finance system.

This bill amends the Education Code to provide a credit for windstorm and hail insurance costs for school districts located in first or second tier coastal counties. Specifically, the total amount required for a school district to purchase attendance credit is reduced by the amount spent on windstorm and hail insurance in the preceding school year. The credit applies after any other reductions. The changes take effect September 1, 2025.
