Allows pregnant drivers to use high occupancy vehicle lanes regardless of vehicle occupancy.
This bill amends the Texas Transportation Code to allow operators of motor vehicles who are pregnant to use any high occupancy vehicle lane in the state, regardless of whether the vehicle is occupied by a passenger other than the operator's unborn child. The change takes effect September 1, 2025.
