Texas HB3433 amends the Special District Local Laws Code to adjust fees assessed by the Lost Pines Groundwater Conservation District. The bill allows the district to assess production and export fees for water produced or exported from the district. It limits the combined regulatory pumping fees for production and export of water to 17 cents per thousand gallons. For agricultural uses, the production fees cannot exceed 20 percent of the rate applied to water for municipal uses.
