Texas HB3385 amends the Alcoholic Beverage Code to create a farm winery permit for wineries producing Texas wine. This permit allows the winery to operate up to five off-site locations where Texas wine can be sold for on-premises consumption and sell up to 250,000 gallons of Texas wine annually for off-premises consumption. The permit is only issued to holders of a winery permit who produce Texas wine, defined as wine made from at least 75% Texas-grown grapes or other fruit and bottled in Texas.
