Texas HB332 amends the Election Code to include additional forms of photo identification that voters can use. Acceptable forms now include a driver's license, election identification certificate, personal identification card, U.S. military ID, U.S. citizenship certificate, U.S. passport, handgun license, Native American tribal ID, college ID, and state agency ID. The bill takes effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote in both houses, otherwise it will take effect on September 1, 2025.
