Texas HB3308 amends the Occupations Code by redefining "professional sports team" to include teams from Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, and other major leagues, as well as organizations hosting Professional Golf Association events or Professional Rodeo Events. It also redefines "rodeo venue" as a facility in Texas owned or operated by an organization sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association or the Women's Professional Rodeo Association, or hosting a Professional Rodeo Event. This Act takes effect on September 1, 2025.
