Texas HB3305 amends the Health and Safety Code to establish expiration dates for local government health care provider participation programs. The authority of local governments to administer these programs expires on September 1 following the second anniversary of the adoption of the authorizing order or ordinance, except for counties with a population of one million or more, those containing a municipality with a population of one million or more, and those adjacent to a county with a population of 2.5 million or more. These exceptions see their authority expire on September 1, 2030.
