Texas HB3255 amends the Local Government Code to expand the authority of a development corporation created by the Gulf Coast Authority. The bill allows the corporation to finance projects described by Subchapter C, Chapter 501, Local Government Code, located inside or outside the state. It also permits the financing of qualified improvements as defined by Section 399.002, Local Government Code, in the same manner as a municipality or county.
